Look, oh teacher, at this great military formation of the sons of Pāṇḍu, arranged by the son of Drupada, your intelligent disciple

Duryodhana observes the enemy formation. The term mahatīṃ camūm (great army) suggests involuntary respect for the Pāṇḍavas’ preparation.

The irony is palpable: drupada-putreṇa (by the son of Drupada) — Droṇa was the sworn enemy of Drupada, king of Pāñcāla. The son of this enemy, Dhṛṣṭadyumna, was precisely created to kill Droṇa (as narrated in the Ādi Parva of the Mahābhārata).

tava śiṣyeṇa — “your disciple.” Duryodhana reminds Droṇa that Dhṛṣṭadyumna was trained by him. The teacher has created the one who will be his destroyer.
