"अव्यक्तादीनि भूतानि व्यक्तमध्यानि भारत | अव्यक्तनिधनान्येव तत्र का परिदेवना"
"avyaktādīni bhūtāni vyakta-madhyāni bhārata | avyakta-nidhanāny eva tatra kā paridevana"
Beings have their origin in the unmanifest, their middle in the manifest, oh Bhārata, and their end in the unmanifest. What lamentation is there in this?
The three-phase structure: avyakta (unmanifest, origin) → vyakta (manifest, middle) → avyakta-nidhanāni (ends in the unmanifest). We are born from the invisible, live visibly, die to the invisible.
Bhūtāni (beings, elements, creatures) follow this universal pattern. The question kā paridevana (what lamentation?) is rhetorical: what exactly is there to grieve? The origin is mysterious, the middle is ephemeral, the return is natural.
Bhārata — reminder that even kings follow these cosmic laws.
