Either dying you will obtain heaven, or having conquered you will enjoy the earth. Therefore, rise up, oh son of Kuntī, determined to battle

The win-win argument: hataḥ (dead) → svarga (heaven), jitvā (having conquered) → bhokṣyase mahīm (you will enjoy the earth/wealth). Both results are śreyas (supreme good) for the kṣatriya.

There is no possible loss in correct action. Battle according to dharma produces positive fruit whatever the material outcome.

Kṛta-niścayaḥ (of made/firm determination) — Arjuna must decide. Uttiṣṭha (rise up) repeats the initial mandate (BG 2.3), now with complete argumentation.
