Therefore, oh mighty-armed one, he whose senses are completely withdrawn from sense objects, his wisdom is established

The conclusion of the analysis: tasmāt (therefore). The action: nigṛhītāni (withdrawn, restrained, mastered) sarvśaḥ (completely) indriyāṇi (senses) indriyārthebhyaḥ (from sense objects).

It is not destruction of senses but disconnection from their objects. The yogin has senses but is not prasakta (attached) to their experiences.

Result: prajñā pratiṣṭhitā (wisdom is established). Stability is the fruit of bodily and sensory mastery.
