Vision
Yoga needs instructors who teach from knowledge, not just personal experience. Instructors capable of explaining why a technique works, not just how to execute it. Who know the tradition deeply enough to transmit it without simplifying it.
hatha.es was born as a repository of the classical yoga texts. This training is the natural extension of that work: applying the rigour we bring to the study of the sources to the training of those who will teach the practice.
Four modules, one integral training
MF2038_3 · Asanas, pranayama, bandhas, mudras, shatkarmas and relaxation and meditation techniques with rigorous technical foundation.
MF2039_3 · Session design, intelligent sequencing and adaptation for different populations and objectives.
MF2040_3 · Yoga didactics, effective communication, group management and safe manual adjustments.
MF0272_2 · Emergency protocols, CPR and response to critical situations in the context of yoga classes.
Hour distribution
The syllabus is split between 10 in-person weekends (13 h each) at our studio and theoretical content on the online platform, supported by the hatha.es corpus.

Saturday and Sunday, once a month from October to July. Chosen to avoid public holidays and long weekends in southern Andalusia.

The legal framework: AFDA0311
The Certificado de Profesionalidad AFDA0311 — Instrucción en Yoga is the official qualification that the Spanish state recognises for yoga instruction. Regulated by Real Decreto 1076/2012, professional family of Physical and Sporting Activities (level 3), valid nationwide. Reference qualification: AFD616_3 (RD 1034/2011).
The Junta de Andalucía includes this qualification in its permanent evaluation and accreditation procedure. Check accreditable units.
Our programme covers the four units of competence:
- UC2038_3 — Execute specific yoga techniques effectively and safely
- UC2039_3 — Programme activities for the yoga studio
- UC2040_3 — Direct and lead yoga instruction sessions
- UC0272_2 — First aid
From diploma to official accreditation
Upon completing the programme, hatha.es issues the Yoga Instructor Diploma, which documents the 300 hours of training conforming to the AFDA0311 syllabus.
This diploma is not the Certificado de Profesionalidad — it is the training that qualifies you to obtain it. The Certificate is issued by the Junta de Andalucía through the Acredita programme, an official process that includes advisory and evaluation phases.
Our diploma meets the training requirement (minimum 300 hours in the last 10 years) that Acredita requires as an access pathway. Students who complete the programme have the necessary documentation to apply when the Junta opens the process.

Just as we work with the original texts on hatha.es, in this training we work with the official syllabus and the classical sources. No intermediaries that dilute the content.

Frequently asked questions
Is this diploma the Certificado de Profesionalidad?
No. Our diploma documents training conforming to the AFDA0311 syllabus. The Certificado de Profesionalidad is issued by the Junta de Andalucía through the Acredita programme. Our diploma meets the training requirement (minimum 300 h in the last 10 years) that Acredita requires as an access pathway.
Do I need prior experience to enrol?
Yes. This training is aimed at experienced practitioners who want to make the leap to professional teaching. It is not an introductory yoga course.
How many places are available?
20 places. Groups are small because instructor training requires individual attention, supervised practice and personalised correction.
Can I combine it with my job?
Yes. It's 1 weekend per month (Saturday morning and afternoon, Sunday morning). Online content is done at your own pace between sessions.
What if I miss a weekend?
In-person attendance is mandatory. If you cannot attend a session due to exceptional circumstances, there are catch-up options arranged with the pedagogical director.
Is the online syllabus on hatha.es?
Yes. The online platform is built directly on the hatha.es corpus — the classical texts, the glossary, the comparative syntheses. It's the theoretical foundation of the programme.

At the YUJ ES YOGA studio in Seville (C/ Dr. Antonio Cortés Lladó 3, 41004).
