धनुरासन

Dhanurāsana

Bow posture. Lying prone, the hands grasp the ankles and the body arches like a drawn bow.

A spinal extension that opens the chest and stimulates the abdominal organs. Listed in Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā (I.25) and Gheraṇḍa Saṃhitā (II.18).
