Kaivalya
Isolation, absolute liberation. The final state of classical yoga where purusha recognizes itself completely independent of prakriti. The fourth pada of the Yoga Sutras bears this name.
Kaivalya is not a place or an experience — it is the recognition of what was always true: consciousness was never really bound. Liberation is discovering there was never real bondage, only mistaken identification.
Unlike moksha (which may imply union with the divine), kaivalya emphasizes the radical solitude of purusha, its completely self-sufficient nature free from all relationship.
