Jñāna

Discriminative knowledge. Gnosis. From the root “jñā” (to know).

Direct knowledge that distinguishes the real from the unreal, the Self from the not-self. In Bhagavad Gītā, jñāna yoga is one of the three main paths. Not erudition but transformative understanding.
