Kanda

anatomía

“Bulb / Root-stalk”. Bulbous region located between the [[anus]] and the genitals, considered the origin (mūla) of all [[nāḍī]]s.

The kanda is described as an egg-shaped bulb or root from which emerge the 72,000 nāḍīs that irrigate the subtle body. It is the lower convergence point of the energetic system, opposite to the brahmarandhra at the crown of the head.
