उपेक्षा
Upekṣā
concepto“To disregard,” “to overlook.” In the Yoga Sūtras (I.33), upekṣā is one of four attitudes toward experience: not reacting to those who act with malice. It is not cynical indifference but equanimous wisdom — not feeding the wheel of reactivity.
In the Buddhist tradition, upekkhā is equanimity as a factor of enlightenment. In both traditions, it implies observing without attachment or aversion, letting pass without getting caught. See upekkha.
