Methodological Notes
Transliteration
The IAST standard (International Alphabet of Sanskrit Transliteration) is used for all Sanskrit transliterations. Diacritics are preserved to maintain phonetic precision.
Translation
Translations are original, based on cross-referencing multiple academic sources and direct consultation of the Sanskrit. Clarity is prioritized without sacrificing fidelity to the original text.
Numbering
Verse numbering follows standard critical editions. In cases of discrepancy between editions, the specific source is indicated.
Usage & Attribution
Classical yoga texts are humanity's heritage. Original translations and commentaries from this project may be cited with attribution to hatha.es. For academic use, citing the primary sources listed above is recommended.
