Chapter 15 · Verse 20

त्यजैव ध्यानं सर्वत्र मा किञ्चिद् हृदि धारय

tyajaiva dhyānaṃ sarvatra mā kiñcid hṛdi dhāraya | ātmā tvaṃ mukta evāsi kiṃ vim

Abandon meditation (dhyāna) entirely. Hold nothing in the heart. You are indeed the Self. What will you do by reflecting? Meditation is declared unnecessary for one who already is the Self. Reflection on the Self is like a reflection of a reflection — it presupposes a separation that does not exist.
