Chapter 18 · Verse 15
येन विश्वमिदं दृष्टं स नास्तीति करोतु वै
yena viśvamidaṃ dṛṣṭaṃ sa nāstīti karotu vai | nirvāsanaḥ kiṃ kurute paśyannapi
In chapter 18 (Janaka’s liberation), verse 15 deepens the teaching of non-duality. In Advaita Vedānta philosophy, this verse of the Aṣṭāvakra Gītā reveals that freedom is inherent to the Self and requires no acquisition.
