Chapter 18 · Verse 26

अतद्वादीव कुरुते न भवेदपि बालिशः

atadvādīva kurute na bhavedapi bāliśaḥ | jīvanmuktaḥ sukhī śrīmān saṃsarannapi ś

In chapter 18 (Janaka’s liberation), verse 26 deepens the teaching of non-duality. In Advaita Vedānta philosophy, this verse of the Aṣṭāvakra Gītā reveals that freedom is inherent to the Self and requires no acquisition.
