Chapter 18 · Verse 93
आत्मविश्रान्तितृप्तेन निराशेन गतार्तिना
ātmaviśrāntitṛptena nirāśena gatārtinā | antaryadanubhūyeta tat kathaṃ kasya kat
In chapter 18 (Janaka’s liberation), verse 93 deepens the teaching of non-duality. In Advaita Vedānta philosophy, this verse of the Aṣṭāvakra Gītā reveals that freedom is inherent to the Self and requires no acquisition.
