Chapter 18 · Verse 95
ज्ञः सचिन्तोऽपि निश्चिन्तः सेन्द्रियोऽपि निरिन्द्रियः
jñaḥ sacinto'pi niścintaḥ sendriyo'pi nirindriyaḥ | subuddhirapi nirbuddhiḥ sāha
In chapter 18 (Janaka’s liberation), verse 95 deepens the teaching of non-duality. In Advaita Vedānta philosophy, this verse of the Aṣṭāvakra Gītā reveals that freedom is inherent to the Self and requires no acquisition.
