Rāja-Vidyā-Rāja-Guhya Yoga · Verse 27
यत्करोषि यदश्नासि यज्जुहोषि ददासि यत् | यत्तपस्यसि कौन्तेय तत्कुरुष्व मदर्पणम्
yat karoṣi yad aśnāsi yaj juhoṣi dadāsi yat | yat tapasyasi kaunteya tat kuruṣva mad-arpaṇam
Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you sacrifice, whatever you give, whatever austerity you practice, O son of Kuntī, do it as an offering to Me.
The principle of Karma Yoga taken to its maximum expression. Five fundamental human activities: karoti (do), aśnāti (eat), juhoti (sacrifice), dadāti (give), tapasyati (austerity).
Mad-arpaṇam — offering to Me — the key to transforming karma into bhakti. It is not renunciation of action, but its dedication to the Lord.
This is bhūti yoga — the yoga of offering — that sanctifies every act of daily life. The practice of constant remembrance of God (smaraṇa) amid worldly obligations.
