Chapter 18 · Verse 70
भ्रमभूतमिदं सर्वं किञ्चिन्नास्तीति निश्चयी
bhramabhūtamidaṃ sarvaṃ kiñcinnāstīti niścayī | alakṣyasphuraṇaḥ śuddhaḥ svabhāv
In chapter 18 (Janaka’s liberation), verse 70 deepens the teaching of non-duality. In Advaita Vedānta philosophy, this verse of the Aṣṭāvakra Gītā reveals that freedom is inherent to the Self and requires no acquisition.
