Chapter 2 · Verse 25
मय्यनन्तमहाम्भोधावाश्चर्यं जीववीचयः
mayyanantamahāmbhodhāvāścaryaṃ jīvavīcayaḥ | udyanti ghnanti khelanti praviśanti
In chapter 2 (Aṣṭāvakra’s instructions on the Self), verse 25 deepens the teaching of non-duality. In Advaita Vedānta philosophy, this verse of the Aṣṭāvakra Gītā reveals that freedom is inherent to the Self and requires no acquisition.
