Aṣṭāvakra resumes with a direct declaration: you are pure Knowledge (jñāna), pure and limitless as space. The rhetorical question that follows — what is there to know, to renounce, to accept, to reject? — is not an invitation to seek but a statement that all seeking is superfluous for one who already is knowledge itself. Chapter 5 deepens the inquiry into the nature of the Self beyond all categories.
