Vibhūti Yoga · Verse 10
तेषां सततयुक्तानां भजतां प्रीतिपूर्वकम् | ददामि बुद्धियोगं तं येन मामुपयान्ति ते
teṣāṃ satata-yuktānāṃ bhajatāṃ prīti-pūrvakam | dadāmi buddhi-yogaṃ taṃ yena mām upayānti te
To those who are always united, worshiping Me with love, I grant that buddhi-yoga by which they may come to Me.
Grace as the response to love. Satata-yuktānām — always united — constant devotees. Prīti-pūrvakam — preceded by love — pure motivation.
Buddhi-yoga — the yoga of discernment — the capacity to distinguish between ātman and anātman. It is tam — that — specific, appropriate for each soul.
Yena mām upayānti te — by which they come to Me — the final result. Grace is not arbitrary; it is the Lord’s natural response to the devotee’s love.
