Rāja-Vidyā-Rāja-Guhya Yoga · Verse 12

मोघाशा मोघकर्माणो मोघज्ञाना विचेतसः | राक्षसीमासुरीं चैव प्रकृतिं मोहिनीं श्रिताः

moghāśā mogha-karmāṇo mogha-jñānā vicetasaḥ | rākṣasīm āsurīṃ caiva prakṛtiṃ mohinīṃ śritāḥ

Vain are their desires, vain their actions, vain their knowledge, deprived of discernment; they have adopted the demoniac and asuric nature, full of delusion.

Those who do not recognize Kṛṣṇa’s divinity are destined for failure. Moghāśāḥ — vain desires — frustrated. Mogha-karmāṇaḥ — vain actions — without spiritual fruit.

Mogha-jñānāḥ — vain knowledge — sterile intellect. Vicetasaḥ — deprived of discrimination — incapable of discerning.

Rākṣasīm āsurīm — demoniac and asuric nature. Mohinīm — full of delusion — that which confuses. Śritāḥ — have adopted — have taken refuge in.
