Rāja-Vidyā-Rāja-Guhya Yoga · Verse 29

I am equal toward all beings; no one is hateful or dear to Me. But those who worship Me with devotion are in Me, and I also am in them.

The Lord as impartial witness. Samo ‘ham — I am equal — does not discriminate between friend and enemy. There is no divine favoritism.

But for the devotee something extraordinary occurs: ye bhajanti tu mām — those who worship Me — establish a reciprocal relationship. Mayi te — they are in Me — and teṣu ca api aham — I am in them.

This is sādhya (what is attained): while God is omnipresent to all, only the devotee experiences His internal presence.
