The Lord, the Fortunate One. Bhagavān as an honorific title of Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa, possessor of the six opulences (aiśvarya, vīrya, yaśas, śrī, jñāna, vairāgya). In the Bhagavad-gītā, Bhagavān designates the Supreme Being who descends to the human plane to reveal dharma. The term indicates not merely divinity, but the fullness of power, glory, and compassion.
