नभि

Nabhi

anatomía sutil

Navel, umbilicus, center. From the root nabh — to burst forth, to spring. In subtle anatomy, the nābhī or maṇipūra cakra — the third energetic center located at the solar plexus.

The Bhagavad-gītā describes Kṛṣṇa’s cosmic form with the navel as a focal point from which creation emanates — reflecting the ancient cosmogonic symbolism of the navel as the birthplace of the universe.

In haṭha yoga, the nābhī is a critical locus of prāṇa and agni (digestive fire). Practices such as uddīyana bandha and naulī directly engage this center, believed to purify and energize the entire system.
