Pliha

concepto

Spleen; in classical Indian medicine (Āyurveda), the organ associated with the rakta dhātu (blood tissue) and the seat of certain metabolic functions.

The term appears in the Bhagavad-gītā in descriptions of the cosmic body or in compound anatomical references. In yogic subtle anatomy, the region of the plīha connects to the maṇipūra cakra and the digestive fire (jaṭharāgni).

Āyurvedic texts describe plīha disorders as producing lassitude, digestive impairment, and blood-related imbalances — conditions addressed through diet, herbs, and specific āsana and prāṇāyāma practices.
