Aṣṭāvakra begins chapter 8 with a portrait of the fulfilled mind: when it is free from desire and vast as space, supreme truth manifests of its own accord. The Self is already fullness, peace, and freedom; therefore nothing further is required. This is not a technique to make reality appear but a description of the mind that no longer veils it.
