Vibhūti Yoga · Verse 26

अश्वत्थः सर्ववृक्षाणां देवर्षीणां च नारदः | गन्धर्वाणां चित्ररथः सिद्धानां कपिलो मुनिः

aśvatthaḥ sarva-vṛkṣāṇāṃ devarṣīṇāṃ ca nāradaḥ | gandharvāṇāṃ citrarathaḥ siddhānāṃ kapilo muniḥ

Of all trees I am the aśvattha; of the sages among the gods I am Nārada; of the Gandharvas I am Citraratha, and of the perfected I am Kapila Muni.

Sarva-vṛkṣāṇām — of all trees — aśvatthaḥ — the banyan tree, sacred in India. Devarṣīṇām — ṛṣis who are devasnāradaḥ — the great traveling devotee.

Gandharvāṇām — celestial musicians — citrarathaḥ — the most skilled. Siddhānām — perfected beings with mystic powers — kapilaḥ muniḥ — founder of Sāṅkhya.

The vibhūtis include important historical, mythological and philosophical beings.
