Viśvarūpa-Darśana Yoga · Verse 33
tasmāt tvam uttiṣṭha yaśo labhasva jitvā śatrūn bhuṅkṣva rājyaṃ samṛddham | mayaivaitā nihitāḥ pūrvam eva nimitta-mātraṃ bhava savya-sācin
Therefore, stand up, attain glory, conquer the enemies and enjoy the flourishing kingdom. By Me alone have they already been slain; be merely an instrument, oh Savyasācin.
Tasmāt — therefore — the logical conclusion. Uttiṣṭha — stand up — the order to act. Yaśaḥ labhasva — obtain glory — jitvā śatrūn — conquering enemies.
Mayaiva — by Me alone — nihitāḥ — have been slain — pūrvam eva — already — destiny is fixed. Nimitta-mātram — mere instrument — not the cause, only the means.
Savya-sācin — he who wields the bow with the left hand — epithet of Arjuna.
