Viśvarūpa-Darśana Yoga · Verse 42

यच्चावहासार्थमसत्कृतोऽसि विहारशय्यासनभोजनेषु | एकोऽथ वाप्यच्युत तत्समक्षं तत्क्षामये त्वामहमप्रमेयम्

yac cāvahāsārtham asat-kṛto 'si vihāra-śayyāsana-bhojaneṣu | eko 'tha vāpy acyuta tat-samakṣaṃ tat kṣāmaye tvām aham aprameyam

And for jest, being disrespectful in leisure, while resting, sitting or eating, alone or also before others — oh Acyuta! — I ask forgiveness for this, oh immeasurable.

Avahāsa-artham — for jest, amusement. Asat-kṛtaḥ asi — you were treated without respect. Vihāra-śayyā-āsana-bhojaneṣu — in leisure, rest, seat and meals — casual situations.

Ekaḥ — alone — atha vā api — or also. Tat-samakṣam — before them, before others. Acyuta — oh infallible! — you never fall from your position.

Kṣāmaye — I forgive, I ask forgiveness. Aham — I. Aprameyam — oh immeasurable — who cannot be measured.
