Viśvarūpa-Darśana Yoga · Verse 41
सखेति मत्वा प्रसभं यदुक्तं हे कृष्ण यादव हे सखेति | अजानता महिमानं तवेदं मया प्रमादात्प्रणयेन वापि
sakheti matvā prasabhaṃ yad uktaṃ he kṛṣṇa yādava he sakheti | ajānatā mahimānaṃ tavedam mayā pramādāt praṇayena vāpi
Thinking of You as friend, what was said inconsiderately: ‘Oh Kṛṣṇa, oh Yādava, oh friend!’, not knowing this glory of Yours, through negligence or through affection.
Arjuna asks forgiveness for previous faults. Sakhā iti matvā — thinking as friend — informal relationship. Prasabham — inconsiderately, rudely.
He Kṛṣṇa he Yādava he sakheti — ‘Oh Kṛṣṇa, oh Yādava, oh friend!’ — too familiar.
Ajānatā — not knowing. Mahimānam — the glory, greatness. Maya — by me. Pramādāt — through negligence. Praṇayena vā api — or through affection/friendship.
