Viśvarūpa-Darśana Yoga · Verse 40
नमः पुरस्तादथ पृष्ठतस्ते नमोऽस्तु ते सर्वत एव सर्व | अनन्तवीर्यामितविक्रमस्त्वं सर्वं समाप्नोषि ततोऽसि सर्वः
namaḥ purastād atha pṛṣṭhatas te namo 'stu te sarvata eva sarva | ananta-vīryāmita-vikramas tvaṃ sarvaṃ samāpnoṣi tato 'si sarvaḥ
Reverence before and behind You. Reverence to You from everywhere, oh All. Oh of infinite power and immeasurable might, You pervade all; therefore You are all.
Purastāt — before. Pṛṣṭhataḥ — behind. Sarvataḥ — from everywhere. Sarva — All.
Ananta-vīrya — infinite power. Amita-vikrama — immeasurable might. Sarvaṃ samāpnoṣi — You pervade/obtain all.
Tataḥ asi sarvaḥ — therefore You are all — the identity between the Lord and the universe is of cause-effect, not essential.
