Viśvarūpa-Darśana Yoga · Verse 16

अनेकबाहूदरवक्त्रनेत्रं पश्यामि त्वां सर्वतोऽनन्तरूपम् | नान्तं न मध्यं न पुनस्तवादिं पश्यामि विश्वेश्वर विश्वरूप

aneka-bāhūdara-vaktra-netraṃ paśyāmi tvāṃ sarvato 'nanta-rūpam | nāntaṃ na madhyaṃ na punas tavādiṃ paśyāmi viśveśvara viśva-rūpa

I see Your form with many arms, bellies, mouths and eyes, unlimited everywhere. I see no beginning, middle nor end of You, oh Lord of the universe, oh universal form.

Aneka-bāhu-udara-vaktra-netram — many arms, bellies, mouths, eyes — the cosmic body without limits. Sarvataḥ ananta-rūpam — form unlimited everywhere.

Na antam — no end. Na madhyam — no middle. Na ādim — no beginning. The viśvarūpa is without spatial or temporal limits.

Viśveśvara — Lord of the universe. Viśvarūpa — of universal form — Arjuna uses the name of the chapter.
