तदेतद्ब्रह्मापूर्वमपरमनन्तं बाह्यं व्याप्यं नित्यं विभुं सूक्ष्मं सन्मात्रं सद्ब्रह्म
tadetadbrahmāpūrvamaparamanantaṃ bāhyaṃ vyāpyaṃ nityaṃ vibhuṃ sūkṣmaṃ sanmātraṃ sadbrahma
That is this Brahman, without before or after, infinite, external, omnipenetrating, eternal, omnipresent, subtle, essence of being, true Brahman.
A chain of epithets describing Brahman: apūrva (without precedent), apara (without posterior), ananta (without end), bāhya (external —in the sense of transcendent), vyāpya (omnipenetrating), nitya (eternal), vibhu (omnipresent), sūkṣma (subtle), sanmātra (pure essence of being). In our yoga practice, these are not mere adjectives but descriptions of our own nature when recognized. We do not seek something external but remember what has always been the case: we are the sadbrahma, the Brahman that is, not that comes to be.
