Śvetāśvatara Upaniṣad · 4..11
तदेतद्ब्रह्मापूर्वमपरमनन्तं बाह्यं व्याप्यं नित्यं विभुं सूक्ष्मं सन्मात्रं सद्ब्रह्म
tadetadbrahmāpūrvamaparamanantaṃ bāhyaṃ vyāpyaṃ nityaṃ vibhuṃ sūkṣmaṃ sanmātraṃ sadbrahma
That is this Brahman, without before or after, infinite, external, omnipenetrating, eternal, omnipresent, subtle, essence of being, true Brahman.
Repetition of verse 4.9, emphasizing the importance of this description. In the Vedic tradition, repetition is teaching; what is repeated is what must be internalized. In our yoga practice, meditating on these epithets of Brahman is remembering our own nature: I have no before or after, not limited by time; I am omnipenetrating, not confined to body; I am subtle, not reducible to the gross; I am essence of being, not appearance. Each epithet is a portal to recognition.
