Undivided, and yet seeming to be divided among beings, that should be known as the sustainer of beings, devourer and generator.

The Absolute remains avibhakta — indivisible — even while appearing as multiplicity. Like space in different rooms, consciousness is one despite many vessels.

Three cosmic functions: bhūta-bhartṛ (preservation), grasiṣṇu (destruction), and prabhaviṣṇu (creation) — corresponding to Viṣṇu, Śiva, and Brahmā.

These are not sequential but simultaneous aspects of the Absolute. At every moment, the universe is being sustained, dissolved, and recreated.
