Śraddhā-Trayā-Vibhāga Yoga · Verse 28
श्रद्धावानलसोप्याश्रद्धावानपि चापरः | श्रद्धया परयोपेतस्तथा तेषामीश्वरः
śraddhāvān laso py āśraddhāvān api cāparaḥ | śraddhayā parayāpetas tathā teṣām īśvaraḥ
One is of faith, another is of contrary faith; another of mixed faith. But the Lord is with those who are endowed with supreme faith.
Conclusion on śraddhā. Three types: śraddhāvān — with faith (sāttvika). Aśraddhāvān — without faith, or with contrary faith (alasa — negligent, different). Paraya — with mixed faith.
But śraddhayā parayā upetaḥ — one endowed with supreme, pure faith — has the īśvaraḥ with him. Pure śraddhā, of sattva, is the bridge to divinity. The chapter closes celebrating well-directed faith.
