असौ मया हतः शत्रुर्हनिष्ये चापरानपि | ईश्वरोऽहमहं भोगी सिद्धोऽहं बलवान्सुखी
asau mayā hataḥ śatrur haniṣye cāparān api | īśvaro 'ham ahaṃ bhogī siddho 'haṃ balavān sukhī
‘This enemy has been killed by me, and I will kill the others also. I am the Lord, I am the enjoyer, I am perfect, powerful, happy.’
The false self-identification continues. Justified violence: enemies eliminated, more to come. The proclamation īśvaraḥ aham — “I am the Lord” is the supreme ontological error, confusing the jīva with the Puruṣottama.
The self-descriptions accumulate: bhogī (enjoyer), siddhaḥ (perfect/accomplished), balavān (powerful), sukhī (happy). All are false attributes superimposed on the limited ego. The asura is the paradigm of unrestrained ahaṅkāra.
