Vijñāna Yoga · Verse 11
बलं बलवतां चाहं कामरागविवर्जितम् | धर्माविरुद्धो भूतेषु कामोऽस्मि भरतर्षभ
balaṃ balavatāṃ cāhaṃ kāma-rāga-vivarjitam | dharmāviruddho bhūteṣu kāmo 'smi bharatarṣabha
Of the strong, I am the strength free from desire and passion. In all beings, I am the desire that does not contradict dharma, oh bull of the Bharata dynasty!
Bala — strength, power — when it is kāma-rāga-vivarjita (free from sexual desire and attachment). It is virtuous strength, not domination.
Kāma — desire — is natural in bhūta (beings). Kṛṣṇa is the kāma that is dharmāviruddha — not opposed to duty, not violating cosmic order. Pure desire, unstained by rāga (emotional coloration/attachment).
