Vijñāna Yoga · Verse 10
बीजं मां सर्वभूतानां विद्धि पार्थ सनातनम् | बुद्धिर्बुद्धिमतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम्
bījaṃ māṃ sarva-bhūtānāṃ viddhi pārtha sanātanam | buddhir buddhimatām asmi tejas tejasvinām aham
Oh Pārtha! Know that I am the eternal seed of all beings. I am the intellect of the intelligent, the brilliance of the resplendent.
Bīja — seed, germ, original source. Kṛṣṇa is the sanātana (eternal) bīja of sarva-bhūta — all life emerges from Him as seed.
Moreover, He is the superior quality in each class: buddhi (discriminative intelligence) of the buddhimatām (endowed with intellect), tejas (energy, heroic brilliance) of the tejasvinām (powerful/brilliant).
