Abandoning the ego, force, arrogance, desire, anger, attachment — free from possessiveness, peaceful, one becomes fit for the state of Brahman.
Six obstacles to abandon:

- Kāma — desire
- Krodha — anger
- Parigraha — possession, accumulation
Vimucya — liberating oneself. Nirmamaḥ — without “mine.” Śāntaḥ — peaceful. Kalpate — becomes fit/capable. Brahma-bhūyāya — for the state of Brahman.
