Karma-Sannyāsa Yoga · Verse 7

योगयुक्तो विशुद्धात्मा विजितात्मा जितेन्द्रियः | सर्वभूतात्मभूतात्मा कुर्वन्नपि न लिप्यते

yoga-yukto viśuddhātmā vijītātmā jitendriyaḥ | sarva-bhūtātma-bhūtātmā kurvann api na lipyate

United to yoga, of pure soul, who has conquered the Self, of conquered senses, whose Self has become the Self of all beings, even acting he is not stained.

Profile of the liberated yogī. Yoga-yuktaḥ — united to yoga — indicates constant connection.

Viśuddhātmā — of pure soul — indicates total cleanliness. Vijitātmā — who has conquered the Self — indicates self-mastery. Jitendriyaḥ — of conquered senses — indicates sensory control. Sarva-bhūtātma-bhūtātmā — whose Self has become the Self of all — indicates non-dual realization. Result: na lipyate — is not stained — by action.
