Yo ca kāme bhavataṇhaṁ, chaḍayi sabba saṅgā ti; santacitto anupādā, gatiṁ tassa na jānati.
Whoever has abandoned pleasures and thirst for becoming, all bonds; mind pacified, without grasping, their destiny is unknown.
Gatiṁ tassa na jānati — their destiny is unknown. The wise one is not predictable because they are not bound to any result. Their action arises from the moment, not from patterns.
Santacitto — pacified mind. Peace (santi) is not absence of activity, it is absence of agitation.
