Yo ve passasati bhikkhu, yo ceva assāsati bhikkhu; Yo ve passasati bhikkhu, sammā dhammaṃ passati.
Yo ve passasati bhikkhu, yo ceva assāsati bhikkhu; yo ve passasati bhikkhu, sammā dhammaṃ passati.
The monk who breathes well, the monk who inhales well; the monk who breathes well, correctly sees the Dhamma.
Passasati — exhales; assāsati — inhales. Conscious breathing (ānāpānasati) is the fundamental practice of the Buddhist monk.
Sammā dhammaṃ passati — correctly sees the Dhamma. Correct breathing leads to right view. Body and mind are connected.
