Prasāda

concepto

Grace, clarity, serenity, sacred offering. From the root sad (to sit, to settle). In the Bhagavad-gītā (18.73), Arjuna declares that by Krishna’s prasāda his confusion has been destroyed and he stands firm. Prasāda is both a gift bestowed and a state attained: the settled clarity that arises when the mind is no longer agitated by desire and aversion. In temple ritual, prasāda is the consecrated food offering received as blessing. In yoga, it is the spontaneous tranquillity that dawns when practice matures beyond effort. See [[shanti]], shuddhi.
