dyāv-āpṛthivyor idam antaraṃ hi vyāptaṃ tvayaikena diśaś ca sarvāḥ | dṛṣṭvādbhutaṃ rūpam ugraṃ tavedaṃ loka-trayaṃ pravyathitaṃ mahātman

The space between heaven and earth, and all directions, are filled by You alone. Seeing this wonderful and terrible form of Yours, the three worlds are trembling, oh great Soul.

The effect of the viśvarūpa on creation. Dyāv-āpṛthivyoḥ idam antaram — the space between heaven and earth. Vyāptaṃ tvayā ekena — filled by You alone.

Diśaḥ sarvāḥ — all directions — the entire universe is saturated by the Lord. Adbhutam — wonderful. Ugram — terrible, formidable — both qualities coexist.

Loka-trayam — the three worlds (celestial, terrestrial, inferior) — pravyathitam — trembling with fear.
