Viśvarūpa-Darśana Yoga · Verse 24
nabhaḥ-spṛśaṃ dīptam aneka-varṇaṃ vyāttānanaṃ dīpta-viśāla-netram | dṛṣṭvā hi tvāṃ pravyathitāntar-ātmā dhṛtiṃ na vindāmi śamaṃ ca viṣṇo
Touching the sky, brilliant, of many colors, with open mouth, of large and brilliant eyes, seeing You, I am trembling internally, I find neither steadiness nor peace, oh Viṣṇu.
Nabhaḥ-spṛśam — touching the sky — colossal. Dīptam — brilliant, blazing. Aneka-varṇam — of many colors — the spectrum of the universe.
Vyāttānanaṃ — with open mouth — ready to devour. Dīpta-viśāla-netram — large and brilliant eyes — that see everything.
Pravyathita-antar-ātmā — with inner soul trembling — dhṛtim (determination) and śamam (peace) — na vindāmi — I do not find.
