तस्मादज्ञानसम्भूतं हृत्स्थं ज्ञानासिनात्मनः | छित्त्वैनं संशयं योगमातिष्ठोत्तिष्ठ भारत

tasmād ajñāna-sambhūtaṃ hṛt-sthaṃ jñānāsinātmanaḥ | chittvainaṃ saṃśayaṃ yogam ātiṣṭhottiṣṭha bhārata

Therefore, cutting with the sword of knowledge of your Self this doubt born of ignorance that resides in the heart, establish yourself in yoga, arise, oh Bharata.

Conclusion of the chapter. Jñānāsinā ātmanaḥ — sword of knowledge of the Self — is the instrument of cutting.

Ajñāna-sambhūtam — born of ignorance — describes the saṃśayam — doubt — that resides hṛt-stham — in the heart. Chittvā — having cut — indicates radical decision. Ātiṣṭha — establish yourself — in yogam — yoga — and uttiṣṭha — arise, act — oh bhārata. Knowledge and action unite in the practice of yoga.
