Akṣara-Parabrahman Yoga · Verse 13

ओमित्येकाक्षरं ब्रह्म व्याहरन्मामनुस्मरन् | यः प्रयाति त्यजन्देहं स याति परमां गतिम्

om ity ekākṣaraṃ brahma vyāharan mām anusmaran | yaḥ prayāti tyajan dehaṃ sa yāti parāṃ gatim

Murmuring the Brahman of one syllable — Oṃ — remembering Me, whoever abandons the body — he reaches the supreme goal.

Ompraṇava, the sacred syllable. It is ekākṣara (one syllable) and represents brahman. Vyāharan (murmuring, pronouncing) while anusmaran mām (remembering Kṛṣṇa).

This is the technical method: praṇava + smaraṇa of the Lord. Result: parāṃ gatim — supreme destination. The Oṃ represents Kṛṣṇa in His impersonal aspect; but the devotee uses it conscious of Kṛṣṇa.
