Cattāri ariyasaccāni, yathābhūtaṁ passati; taṇhakkhayaṁ virāgaṁ vā, nibbānaṁ sacchikarotīti.
One sees the four noble truths as they are; extinction of thirst, dispassion, realizes nibbana.
Cattāri ariyasaccāni — the four noble truths: suffering, origin, cessation, and path. Seeing them as they are (yathābhūta) is awakening.
Sacchikaroti — realizes, makes real. It is not intellectual belief, it is experiential realization. Nibbana is not a place, it is the experience of the extinction of thirst.
